About Us

With the numbers of terminally ill people growing over the years, the need to improve the quality of life of these people has gained significant attention. India with its growing population carries a huge burden of patients suffering from life-limiting diseases. Many of whom have exhausted all meaningful treatment options. Motherterase Palliative care as a not-for-profit, public charitable trust, dedicated to serving the needs of underprivileged suffering from chronic, advanced or incurable diseases. We embrace patient and family/ caregivers ” as one unit, is totally FREE OF COST and is for people of all castes and religions. It is a joint project of Mother Teresa Palliative care Center G. Divakaran Pillai Memorial ​ Trust for providing free palliative care to patients.

Motherterase Palliative care aims at improving the quality of life of both terminally ill patients and their caregivers. Through professional assessment and treatment, palliative care addresses pain and other problems of the patient – physical, psychosocial and spiritual -and provides relief from suffering.
